Terms & conditions

A few things
to know.

Effective October 18, 2026 · Kevin Coleman · Next Chapter 1.0

Next Chapter is a personal countdown and reflection tool. You control your plan and your stories. The app license and your statutory rights remain in place.

Scope

These terms explain use of the Next Chapter website and provide information about the Next Chapter apps developed by Kevin Coleman. If you do not agree to the website terms, please stop using the website. Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.

App license

Apps obtained from the App Store are licensed under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, unless a separate license is provided with the app. These website terms do not replace that license or Apple’s applicable store terms. If they conflict on app licensing, the applicable app license controls.

Using the countdown

Next Chapter is a personal countdown and reflection tool. Its calculations use the dates, holidays and time-off settings you enter, along with the device’s local date and time. The working-time model uses Monday–Friday, eight-hour days from 9 AM to 5 PM; it may not match your employment arrangements.

Check your settings and verify dates that matter to you. The app does not calculate pension eligibility, employment entitlements or financial readiness, and does not provide financial, legal, tax or medical advice.

Your content & AI drafts

You retain your rights in the stories and other content you create. Next Chapter does not claim ownership of your reflections. Only enter or share content you have the right to use, and respect other people’s privacy.

AI drafts can contain errors or add details you did not intend. Review and edit any draft before keeping or sharing it. You remain in control of what you save. Do not rely on a generated draft as an independently verified record.

Availability & care of data

The apps are planned as free downloads. Launch, features and availability depend on App Store approval, device compatibility, language support and Apple system services. A feature shown here is not a promise of availability on every device or in every region.

Keep copies of information that matters to you using the backup options available on your device. Next Chapter does not provide its own cloud backup or synchronization service. Deleting the app can remove locally stored content.

Website use

You may browse this website and use its support materials for personal use. Please do not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access, misuse the support channel, or republish the site’s original design and materials without permission, except where the law permits.

External links are provided for convenience. Their services are governed by their own terms. Next Chapter is independently developed and is not endorsed by Apple.

Accuracy & your rights

Reasonable care is taken to describe the apps accurately, but website information may contain errors or change as development continues. The website is provided as available, and uninterrupted access is not guaranteed. To the extent permitted by applicable law, no additional warranty is made for this website. This does not exclude or limit liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Contact & updates

Questions about these terms can be sent to Kevin Coleman at support@futurepathdevelopment.com. Updated website terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Changes do not remove rights that already apply to you under mandatory law or the applicable app license.
